Meet the Founder
Philip Kingsley's passion for healthy hair began at the age of 16, when he worked in his uncle's hair salon in London. Early on, he recognized how closely hair health is linked to a person's self-confidence and well-being. This understanding shaped his entire career and made him one of the most significant experts in the field of trichology.
As a pioneer of modern hair care, Philip Kingsley was the first hair expert to focus on the connection between hair health, nutrition, and well-being. He coined the term "Bad Hair Day" and developed Elasticizer, the world's first pre-shampoo hair treatment. He received numerous international awards for his scientific expertise and innovative approach.
Today, his daughter Anabel Kingsley, President of the brand and a renowned trichologist, continues her father's legacy and develops his vision of scientifically-based hair care for the next generation.
