What is a face mist?

Face mists are a great addition to your regular beauty routine. They offer your skin a great moisture boost or can offer additional benefits if they contain additional active ingredients.

What is the purpose of facial spray?

But why exactly is a facial spray worth it? We'll show you the benefits here:

  • Direct moisture boost: With moisturizing ingredients, a face mist primarily has a hydrating effect. Applying it directly before serums and creams can have the added benefit of allowing the skin to better absorb the active ingredients (such as hyaluronic acid) and penetrate deeper.
  • Refreshing feeling: The spray has a pleasantly refreshing effect and is an ideal refreshing kick, even in summer. For an additional cooling effect, you can also store your face mist in the refrigerator.
  • Calming: Some face mists also soothe the skin and can support the skin's outer protective barrier.

When do I use face mist?

You can use face mists as part of your normal morning and evening skincare routine, or as a temporary spray. Ideally, you should apply face mists directly after cleansing your face and spray them directly onto your face from a certain distance (approximately 15 cm).

Make sure to keep your mouth and eyes closed. The face mist is intended for skin use only!

There are also special face mists for your makeup routine, but these are actually setting sprays. Their primary purpose is to extend the wear of makeup and to lock in the applied products. They are therefore often called fixing sprays.
