Matte eyeshadows: If you're using an eyeshadow base, we recommend setting it first. Try the bolder shades just before applying so you can familiarize yourself with the pigmentation. The highly pigmented eyeshadows do not have to be spread, because a single dab of the brush absorbs plenty of pigment. For best results, use a blending or eyeshadow brush. Metallics: Apply with a dense brush or your finger. The metallic eyeshadows work great when applied dry, but spraying the brush with setting spray can add to the shine. Make sure that no moisture gets into the eyeshadow pot.
