Korean beauty brands are known for innovation, both in terms of the ingredients and the technologies used. In addition, Korean skincare relies on a multi-stage and, above all, sophisticated skincare routine that soothes the skin and provides it with a large amount of moisture.

Korean skincare ingredients

Innovative ingredients in Korean skincare include mainly natural substances, but also ingredients that are rather unusual for us.

Known ingredients include:

Centella Asiatica is also known as Indian pennywort, Asian pennywort, tiger grass and Gotu Kola and is used primarily in traditional Chinese medicine. It is considered to be particularly wound-healing, regenerating and anti-inflammatory and is one of the main ingredients in Korean Beauty - for example, all ingredients in the SKIN1004 brand are based on Centella Asiatica.
